Before getting into digital arts, I was an illustrator. Sure, I did all of the usual studio arts, but at the heart of it all was illustration. Sometimes for a design project a photo just isn't possible or desired, and a hand drawn element is needed. I like to put my drawing skills to use for projects, even if just to brainstorm layout ideas.
